Welcome to Abbeydale Table Tennis Club. The club is part of the Sheffield and District Table Tennis League and is governed by the Table Tennis England. The dedicated Table Tennis sports hall is located in the grounds of Abbeydale Sports Club. Members have access to the hall 24/7/365 days per year.

New Players & Members
We have many areas of interest for players of all ability for those who are just starting out and learning to play to the experienced / seasoned player.
Friday night is our Club night when Club & Social members turn up for a practice. There is an open invitation for anyone with an interest in Table Tennis to come along free of charge and get introduced and try it out. You will be made welcome regardless of your playing standard.

U3A MEMBERSHIP (Have to be National U3A member) £65.00
All members will receive an "Abbeydale Sports Club Membership card" *. This entitles you to a 10% discount on products purchased in the Clubhouse Bar.
Membership fees are inclusive of the Abbeydale Sports Club membership fee of £40 Adults and £20 Juniors. (Adults for the next 1 year incur a £15 car park resurfacing levy fee)
Light Meters - Its pay per play.
Just under £3.00 / hour - meter takes 20p & £1 coins
This Winter season 2018 we envisage entering 11 teams in the league
We run coaching sessions on most Saturday mornings for juniors of all ages. Beginners session at 09.00am. More advanced players are catered for at the two later sessions commencing at 10.00am and 11.00am respectively. Payment for the session is £10.60 month paid by standing order or £4 per session.
It is cash on the day during Easter, Summer Holidays, Christmas and the 7 junior League sessions at EIS)

We also run a dozen plus junior teams in the Sheffield Junior TT League and like to include all our Saturday morning youngsters in this exciting event.
The Junior coaching is going from strength to strength in its attendance and we would welcome any new players.
Child welfare during these sessions is paramount and all our Coaches have DBS Certificates and the club has a Child Protection Policy that is reviewed on a regular basis in line with TTE.
School Holiday coaching sessions and events are advertised as the holidays approach.
The Sheffield Junior league is once again taking place at the English Institute of Sport Sheffield.
Matches take place between 9am and 12 o’clock on Saturday mornings.
Whatever your ability there is a division to suit, last year five divisions of teams battled over the seven Saturday mornings for trophies that were handed out at the Sheffield Table Tennis Association presentation evening.

Coaching is available for any player regardless of ability or standard. We have the pleasure and honour of having a number of coaches;

Tim Denby - Plays in the Sheffield, Chesterfield, University & National Leagues.
Tim Wright , Simon Ryalls and Steve Cross - all experienced players of the Sheffield league.
Nigel Coward - assists in coaching some of the Abbeydale adult players.

Membership for the U3A section requires you to become a member of the National U3A in the first instance at £10 + membership of Abbeydale Table tennis Club £65
U3A Coaching is sometimes available by prior appointment.
All Abbeydale Table Tennis Club members and guests can use the main Clubhouse bar and receive 10% discount on all bar food and drinks on presentation of their membership card
*Junior Members have to ask ASC Ltd on request for their 10% discount membership card

Your personal data will not be given to a third party. Your personal data will be used to maintain membership records or in a medical emergency and your contact details, usually your email address, will be used to inform you of relevant table tennis news. You may withdraw your consent to receive emails whenever you want by contacting APTTC. We will retain your personal data until you are no longer a member of APTTC.
If you play in either the adult or junior league we share information with the Sheffield Table League and Table Tennis England. We will send you emails that relate to the operation of APTTC.
How do I view and amend my personal information held by APTTC? The rights of access and rectification.
You can view your personal information held on the APTTC database by contacting APTTC. You can request that inaccurate or misleading data stored about you is corrected, or missing details are added.
How do I request the deletion of my personal information? The rights to be forgotten and to object.
You have the right to have your personal data deleted if it's no longer necessary to hold your personal data in the APTTC membership records. You can also demand that your data is erased if you've withdrawn your consent for your data to be collected, or object to the way it is being processed.
